Veracross sign-in
Everyone signs in with their own Veracross login. No new passwords, and no SysAdmin credential anywhere.
Access you control
The app connects through an OAuth application in your own Veracross, with only the scopes it uses. You can revoke it at any time.
Families' choices carry over
The directory reads your Veracross directory, so it shows only what each family has chosen to share there.
You choose what the app offers
School Controls chooses which features the app shows students, parents and faculty, and whose schedules they can open in it. It takes effect in every open app within seconds.
Works off Wi-Fi
What the app has loaded is stored on the phone, so schedules, the directory and the rest keep working without Wi-Fi or signal.
Nothing left behind
Signing out clears everything the app itself stored, from the sign-in to the directory.
Privacy and compliance
Your own cloud, backed up nightly
Each school's data lives in its own Google Cloud project, apart from every other school's, in the region the school needs. It is backed up there every night and kept for 90 days, and we test a full restore twice a year.
Never sold, never advertised to
Student data is used only to run the app. No advertising, no third-party trackers, no profiles.
Your data privacy agreement
We work from the Student Data Privacy Consortium's National Data Privacy Agreement. Send us your school's and we will complete it.
Assessed against school standards
We are completing the GESS self-assessment, A4L's security standard for schools, and keep a written breach response plan. SOC 2 is on our roadmap.
